The Jicarilla Apache Environmental Protection Office Coordinates with BIA to remove waste from 6 illegal dumpsites.

Funding from a BIA 638 grant was used to contract crews to remove the trash and waste from 6 sites around the Jicarilla Apache Nation.

A total of about 700 cubic yards of waste and trash were removed during the project.

In short, the waste and trash you see in these photos no longer exists on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation.  These sites are now clean and beautiful once again.  Check back at this site to view the photos of the cleaned areas.  We are sure you will feel proud of these areas once again.
